Roger Bailey Traveling Fellowship: 1998
University of Utah, College of Architecture + Planning.
Traveled to four cities in Argentina:
. Submitted nine-page proposal for four-week travel
. Researched architecture and drew sketches
. Bound sketches into a small book
. Award amount: Approximately $3500.


Miss Helen Snow Kimball Travel Award: 1996
University of Utah, College of Architecture + Planning.
Traveled to three cities in Texas:
. Submitted six-page proposal for three-week travel
. Researched architecture and drew sketches
. Wrote 45-page essay to accompany sketches
. Organized sketches and essay into a wood bookcase
. Award amount: Approximately $1500.


Where Sight Lines Meet: 1991
Copper Development Association.
Sumitted three 2'x3' color-rendered boards:
. Designed a visitors center for an international border
. Competitors were from Canada and USA
. Completed project with a co-designer
. No award.
